Our story began during the Christmas holidays of 2018, when Emma was visiting Montreal. By coincidences, we both had bought tickets to attend the same events two nights in a row and after that, we never stopped being together.

What followed were countless trips between Gatineau and Montreal, until distance no longer made sense. We moved in together, eventually settled into our first apartment in Montreal, and Emma officially became a Québécoise, with Carl proudly stepping into the role of full-time French teacher. Along the way, we adopted two beautiful cats, Charley and Léo 🐾

From our most memorable adventures to our everyday moments of companionship, every moment together has felt effortless. We’ve created the life we wanted while supporting each other to grow into the people we aspire to be. In 2025, surrounded by the magic of Barcelona, we celebrated our engagement in a moment we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives.
